If the sponsor and the individuals need external verification of linguistic ability, there are many exams that exist to test ability not just in foreign language skills but also commercial foreign language skills.
External exams really sharpen the focus and can add a little momentum to a course that has been running for a while. These usually tie in with the CEFR so have a relevance to what an employee needs to be doing in a company. And every learner, whether 6 years old and at school or 55 and running a multinational company, likes to receive some formal recognition for their hard work!
We enter and prepare learners for the following suites of external exams:
|Goethe Institute Zertifikat Deutsch et al BULATS|
|Centre international d’études pédagogiques, DELF/DALF BULATS ETS TFI|
|Instituto Cervantes DELE et al BULATS||
|Japan Foundation JLPT|
The above represent the most commonly requested exams but we can prepare you for most formally recognised foreign language exams.

"My exam motivated me and made me realise how capable I actually was! As well as sharpening my skills, it has now given me formal recognition of my achievements."A motivated student
The exams usually test all four skills – speaking, listening, reading & writing. If there is a need to test only certain skills, Dialogue can prepare internal tests around the needs and activity of the company.
Dialogue is currently working with CIOL (Chartered institute of Linguists) to develop the CLB (Certificate in Languages for Business), available in 2 modules, Speaking & Listening, Reading & Writing.
